Nikolaos Ntavos is a Dipl. Energy Engineer of the University of Western Macedonia and a PhD candidate in the liquid biofuels field.
He is currently the Co-founder and Manager of CluBE – Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia.
Since 2007 he has been involved in the Management of European Projects, Energy Studies, Photovoltaic Systems and Biomass Units studies and permissions.
He was in charge of the Laboratory of Energy Systems Management and Energy Policy of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia.
Indicatively, the European projects he has been involved are: BioClus (FP7), EmPower (Intelligent Energy Europe), BioEnArea (Interreg IVC), ProforBioMed (Interreg MED), DESUR (Interreg IVC), GABE (Interreg IPA Greece-Albania), SecureChain (Horizon2020), M3P (LIFE), STARDUST (Horizon2020 Smart Cities and Communities), AgrowChain (Interreg IPA GREECE-FYROM), BENEFIT (Interreg IPA GREECE-FYROM), RUBIZMO (Horizon2020), SCALIBUR (Horizon2020), MUSIC (Horizon2020), NOMAD (Horizon2020) and Rosewood 4.0 (Horizon2020).
