Antonis Dιmιtriou studied Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics at the University of Patras.
He worked at the Institute for Solid Fuels Technology & Applications as a Senior Engineer/Researcher (period 2004 – 2006) and he had been involved in research projects mainly concerned the development of advanced monitoring methods to improve boiler availability and performance, co-combustion biomass and coal etc. (EC DG Research / Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS)).
Since 2006 he works, as Project Engineer, for ANKO SA the Western Macedonia Development Agency, and he is engaged in several energy and district heating projects and implementation of national and European programmes related to the environment and energy.
Since 2017 he is a member of the Management Committee of the Technical Chamber of Greece, branch of Western Macedonia region.
